Svastya organic farms organic desi kangeyam cow dung cake is made from desi kangeyam cow dung. These are cow dung cakes moulded by bare hands with a curvature to stay stuck to the walls. After drying, they are piled and covered with a thatch known as bitauda.

We make cow dung cake by hand, naturally. Fresh desi cow dung and Gomutra are thoroughly mixed before making small cow dung cakes. These are sun-dried for 4 to 5 days before being used for cooking, havan, or Agnihotra.Cow dung cakes are extremely useful for fire sacrifices (yajnas) and other ceremonial purposes. When burned, they produce a pure and holy atmosphere.

The smoke of gobar clears the air of germs. When we offer ghee in the fire as part of ritualistic sacrifices, it strengthens the ozone layer and shields the earth from harmful radiations from Sun. Traditional wisdom in cooking says that in burning these cow dung cakes, the temperature never rises beyond a certain point, ensuring the nutrients in the food are not destroyed by overheating.
