1. What makes the SOF Cultured Desi Kangeyam Ghee special?
It starts with the health of the Cows - both physical and mental. Our Cows are treated with love, they graze freely, and feed on all that grows naturally around the forest. They are not artificially inseminated. We collect the milk only after the calf is fed its share.

2. I know A2 is good; but what is A2?
A2 is a type of Beta Casein protein in Milk of the Zebu breed of Cows native to some countries including India. A2 Ghee is the ghee made from the milk of Indigenous breed cows - there are many breeds like Kangyeam, Bargur, Gir,HalliKaru,Sahiwal, Rathi, Kankrej, Tharparkar, Khillari, Vechur .

3. Is ghee a substitute for all the available edible cooking oils?
Yes, it is. Pure Desi Ghee has a high smoke point (485 degrees F). This has to do with the molecular structure of saturated fats. Saturated fats contain no double bonds so are not sensitive to heat, light or oxygen, unlike unsaturated fats.

TO THE BRAND SVASTYA

We drove 55 kms to obtain 12 plastic bottles, which we then filled with 6 bottles of honey, 5 bottles of ghee, and a dozen plastic covers from a chips shop to fill with turmeric as we had no idea how to present at the event.
